Maternity (28 – 34 Weeks)

A maternity photo session is all about celebrating your anticipation as you await your child’s arrival. Whether this is your first child or your fourth, these special moments of preparing for the newest member of your family deserve to be captured and as your Baltimore maternity photographer, I would love to help you celebrate the joy and anticipation of your pregnancy

Newborn (14 days or less)

A newborn photo session is documented in the first two weeks of your baby’s life which is such a special time and also so fleeting that you often forget the details. Your baby will never be this small, sleepy, curly, and perfectly new again! I want to capture those tiny details, special moments, and little expressions in custom photography that you will love forever.

Motherhood (6m or 1y)

A motherhood session is all about celebrating the bond between the mother and her child. These sessions are a perfect time to get moms from behind the camera.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before your baby is born! It is so important to plan ahead. Capturing your newborn within the first two weeks of life, while they are still sleepy and curled up, can make all the difference in your newborn photography session. My schedule fills up about four weeks in advance so please call to schedule your newborn appointment before your baby is born. Since we never really know when your little one will arrive we will put you on our calendar to hold a spot for you. When your baby is born we will adjust your photography session date accordingly.

If your baby comes early or if your baby is already born, don’t panic! I always do my best to squeeze newborns into my schedule and older babies take beautiful portraits too

Absolutely! I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love to capture the emotion of those special first days with your new little one and believe that there is no greater photography image than a new mommy or daddy cuddling with and admiring their newborn child. The skin on skin images are a unique way to capture the purity of these relationships, but we also ask parents to have a long-sleeved black shirt so that they may serve as a backdrop for the baby for some of the photography images.

Most of our clients invest anywhere from $1300 to $5000 on their custom portraiture. However, everyone’s needs are different – some spend a little more and some spend a little less.
