ANGELA SINGLETON PHOTOGRAPHY

If I weren’t in business as Angela Singleton Photography

I might be in business as a Baby Soother.

I know it’s a cliche for photographers to say this, but I really hear from moms all the time that I should call myself the baby whisperer. It’s common for parents to tell me they wish they could hire me to come back for naptime because their baby calms so easily around me.

Working with babies and making them (and their parents) feel at ease is such a pleasure. I’ve always felt like I’ve had a knack for it, and when I decided to become a newborn photographer, I did everything I could to hone that gift.

When I’m not creating precious photos of your babies,

I’m interviewing kids in my role as a social worker, or spending time with my own family.

Being a social worker means I know exactly how to meet kids where they’re at and communicate in a way that makes sense to them.

If your baby has older siblings, know that I’ll get right down on their level to make sure they feel seen, have fun, and understand what’s happening. When your children feel comfortable, I know it means you can feel more comfortable.

Your baby’s safety is more important to me than anything else.

That’s why I’m trained in safely posing infants. When you work with me, you’re working with a photographer who has:

  • Over 13 years of experience photographing newborns
  • Specialized training in infant and baby posing
  • Infant and baby CPR certifications
  • Listed as one of the top Newborn Photographers in Baltimore….8 years in a row!
  • A masters degree in social work, with a focus on child development
  • Her own child (plus two fur babies)

Most importantly, you’re working with someone who has a true passion for photographing these first, special memories you make as a family.

And as a mom who has been through having a newborn, I’m also passionate about making this experience easy for you.

Testimonial

Angela provided us with an unbelievably beautiful and safe experience.

She captured the spirit of our family and the personality of our three year old. These pictures will definitely be passed down through the generations. She was so understanding of me as a mother who had just delivered twins and did everything she could to make me feel supported.
