Crowned & Cradled

Introducing Tiara Caldwell who is the owner of Crowned & Cradled.

Tell me about your business?

My business is called Crowned & Cradled. We provide doula services, lactation consulting, and childbirth education. I thought of the name from my name, Tiara (means crown), and the feel I wanted my clients to experience when they work with my company. I strive to give everyone personalized and royal treatment no matter what season they are in when they request my services.

How did you get started?

I started in 2015 officially, but my interest in maternal health and wellness started from childhood. I always had an interest in babies and the process of getting them on this side of the earth. After having a traumatic birth experience in 2011 while delivering twins, I began to read and research more about health outcomes and policies. Through research, I found the term doula and began looking up training and things took off from there.  I am grateful to be aligned in my purpose right now, so many doors and opportunities have lined up for me in business and it confirms to me that I am doing the right thing.

What’s your favorite part about your business?

I have two! My favorite part is the different people I meet! I am honored to become the “auntie” of so many precious babies. My second favorite part about the business is the people who reach out to me wanting to work in the space that I do. I get excited about them every time I hear their dreams and visions. I will always do my best to encourage and mentor those who would like to become birth workers. We need everyone.

Anything you’re looking to do next, new products, services, etc. that you would like to share?

Yes! I am excited for 2019 and the visions I am getting for myself and my business. I plan to definitely upgrade the services that I already offer to enhance the client experience. I also would like to continue networking and collaborating with others in my market. Lastly, stay tuned for merchandise and products to be launched Fall of 2019!
