Today I am so excited to introduce Baby Joy Ultrasound to you. How things have changed since I had my baby. I was one person that wanted to wait to find out the gender of my baby, however I can still say I have my scan of my ultrasound.
Tell me about your business:
Baby Joy Ultrasound is an elective and diagnostic ultrasound facility that has been serving expectant families in the DC, VA and MD areas since 2013. We are focused on providing high quality ultrasound services for expectant families to create early bonding experience with their unborn babies.
We are the first 3d/4d mobile ultrasound company that offer in-home ultrasound services. Expectant families can choose to have their ultrasound done in the comfort of their home, desired location or in our relaxed, family friendly office.
We provide a variety of services such as, Heartbeat check (starting 8 weeks), Early gender reveal (as early as 13 weeks), 3D/4D ultrasound and diagnostic ultrasound to assess the health of the baby.
Our company was featured on TV shows and radio shows such as 19 Kids and Counting, Housewives of Potomac, Helen show and HOT 99.5, The Kane Show.
How did you get started:
I am a registered Ultrasound sonographer with 15 years of experience. I have been working with Perinatologists and OB doctors around the area for many years. At the doctor’s office, we focus on the well being of the baby which is very important but we don’t usually have the luxury of time to show the expectant families their babies’ features in color and even spend some time answering their questions or explaining what they are seeing on the ultrasound machine.
Of course, expectant families want to know the health of their babies first and foremost but they also want to celebrate and document the amazing experience they are going through. They want to find out the gender of their babies soon to help them prepare, they want to see a clear picture of their babies’ faces in color, they want to see if their babies have mom’s nose or daddy’s:). they want to see their babies smile, yawn, frown, wave.. etc.
Doctors office don’t provide this kind of service.., that was why I decided to open a business that caters the need of keepsake ultrasound services.
What’s your favorite part about your business?
My favorite part of my business is to witness the emotion of the parents when they hear their baby’s heart beat for the first time and when they see their baby’s face clear in 3D/4D technology for the first time. It is priceless!
Anything you’re looking to do next, new products, services, etc. that you would like to share?
We have new gender reveal gadgets such as gender reveal balloons, powders and different types stuffed animals.
Our gender reveal mobile package is $400 and can be done as early as 14 week. The 3D/4D mobile package is $600 which are great for baby shower parties or private family viewing. We also offer heart beat packages to include 2D starting at 6 weeks for $75. Our military families get 10% off of their 3d/4d package.
