Hi I’m Angela and thanks for visiting.
I began photography in my junior year of middle school taking pictures for their yearbook. When I entered high school I really found my passion for photography when I worked in the darkroom developing my own films. I absolutely love black and white images and still strive to get the effect of film development through my digital work.
Photography has always been my passion along with wanting to help children in need. When I graduated from high school I decided to pursue my career in Social Work and I attend California University of Pennsylvania for my Bachelors and a Master’s degree at West Virginia University. During my college journey , I had my first child. This timeless moment further nurtured my first passion in photography.
Once I had my daughter I could not stop taking photographs of her. Having her sparked my interest in wanting to have those images to remember of how small she really was, all those tiny details of the peach fuzz she had all over her body or her baby wrinkles. Now at 18 years old she can look back at her albums and see how much she was loved.
In 2007 I got married, and I found wanting to capture every step of the process. My supportive husband recognized my gift and desire to expand my photography skills. My husband and my daughter are my supportive system and inspire me to follow my dreams. After my marriage, I had more time to do all of the things I love to explore in addition to launching my photography business.
In my spare time, you can find me at Starbucks. I love coffee…My favorite is Dark Roast. I believe I carry a very simplistic and traditional lifestyle spirit. I enjoy casual wear (jeans and sweatpants), gravitate toward antiques items, enjoy knitting/crocheting, and reading books. Last but not least I love TV sitcoms; some of my favorites include Coming Home, Law and Order, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, and Chicago Fire.
I would love to have the opportunity to photograph your baby and get to know your family.
